Openwall: Openness or Privacy

Due to changing working methods and the need for multifunctional spaces, versatility is essential in modern offices. The OPENWALL maneuverable partition system is an excellent solution for dividing meeting rooms, auditoriums, collaboration areas, work areas, and even cafeterias, allowing the same space to perform different functions.

Through a very simple process, it is possible to move each element of the partition and open (or close) any space in the office. From a room that opens for a meeting with more people, a training area that becomes a small auditorium or an open space where a certain area for a brainstorming session is closed.

Here we can see some examples of the use of the OPENWALL system in several projects that Bamer carried out in Portugal and Spain.

The Meeting Room

In the KPMG office in Porto, two meeting rooms can be transformed into a larger space by opening the OPENWALL partition. Whether for more intimate meetings or gatherings with more people, the solution worked very well with the rest of the room design.

The Training Room

After the recent renovation of Microsoft's headquarters in Lisbon, the space was equipped with more meeting rooms and multifunctional spaces, as is the case with these training rooms. By opening the partition it is possible to make two rooms into a single space, allowing larger training groups or even transforming it into a small auditorium.

The Common Space

At the Hogan Lovells law firm office in Paseo de la Castellana, Madrid, the OPENWALL system was used in a meeting room, adjacent to a common space. Once opened, this area can be used for events or training.
