A human-scale office
After several months of making predictions about the office and the work's future, one of the conclusions we can draw is that the post-covid workplace will be designed on a more human scale.
Design and architecture are just vehicles to create something functional and aesthetically appealing in many projects, forgetting to put the human being at the centre. As a result of the hybrid way we should work soon, the office will be a forum where creativity is stimulated (and not just a place to perform tasks, a place in which humanity and empathy will be essential factors.
In that sense, the office will need to be a place that encourages communication and provides areas to be concentrated. It should be a space where design must serve the human being and not the other way around; an environment where light, textures and shapes are essential to provide more comfort and provide meaningful work moments.
At Bamer, through our partitions and bespoke carpentry, we can contribute to a more positive work environment. While our partitions allow for greater transparency and luminosity, bespoke carpentry is ideal for creating tailored environments where tactile materials contribute to a more humane and sensory experience.
